Biswasabaram: The story of Nahid Islam’s struggle is quite inspiring, leaving for the ‘big goal’ in the post of Bangladesh Minister.

Nahid Islam has resigned from the cabinet, one of the top leaders of the interim government of Bangladesh and prominent leader of the student movement. Let us tell you that Nahid Islam has taken this step before starting a new political party by the leaders involved in the uprising in July. It is believed that a large number of Bangladeshi youths can join the party led by Nahid Islam and can go to the hands of the youth in the upcoming parliamentary elections. However, Nahid Islam’s eyes are in the country’s top constitutional position, it was only clear when he expressed his desire in his conversation with the media after becoming the cabinet minister.
Now Nahid Islam, after submitting his resignation to the chief adviser Muhammad Yunas, reiterated his old issue in conversation with the media that a new political power is needed considering the current situation in the country. He said that I resigned from the Advisory Council to stay on the street to strengthen the mass movement. Nahid Islam, one of the main coordinators of the July uprising, who led the Awami League government under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, said that his role on this road seems to be more important than the government.

Also refer to it: ‘The minority of Bangladesh is not concerned about India’, the neighboring country in Jayashankar’s statement

He said that he wanted to work for the aspirations of the people for democratic change and he had resigned from the post of adviser. Let us tell you that he was the minister with two information and broadcasting and the post and telecommunications department. On August 7 last year, the student movement led a huge uprising, which the Prime Minister was broken by Sheikh Hasina’s government for a long time. Three days later, Yunus took charge of the interim government. Nahid was one of the three representatives of the Islam movement, which included the Advisory Council.
Now it is said that the students and others who led the movement to Sheikh Hasina from power to the power to start the party on February 27 to start the party for a great rally on Manik Mia Avenue. Nahid is expected to lead a party from Islam; However, the name of the team has not yet been published. It is still seen that if Nahid Islam led the newly formed party, did he win the parliamentary elections? It should also be seen that Nahid Islam, who resigned from the post of minister of the two departments, will soon be the Prime Minister of Bangladesh?
Let us remind you that the Advisory Council formed to assist Mohammad Yunus, the head of the interim government of Bangladesh, is acting as the cabinet of Bangladesh. Although there are multiple experienced people in this Advisory Council, there are two names who have no administrative work experience. These are two people- Mohammad Nahid Islam and Asif Mahmud.
Let us remind you that when the opposition movement started on July 1 2024, Nahid Islam and Asif Mahmud were only a general student of the University of Dhaka. These played an important role in taking the movement forward with both students and some others and spreading it across the country. Gradually the movement of the students became a mass uprising and Sheikh Hasina was forced to resign as Prime Minister and flee the country on August 7.
During the demonstration, both of these student leaders had endured all the torture but refused to bow down to their heads or to go back from the fight of rights. The two students were attracted when the police picked them up in the first round of curfew imposed by the Hasina government to suppress the reservation reform movement. Media reports reported that he was tortured and later left on the side of the road. It is alleged that the members of the intelligence branch (DB) later raised the two students leaders with four more students coordinators when they were treating a hospital in the capital. However, instead of withdrawing, he started hunger strike on July 7 to protest against other student leaders and protest against the brutal action against the students across the country.
Let us further remind you that the Sheikh Hasina government has raised pressure on them while keeping these student leaders in custody and released a video from them so that six coordinators, including Nahid and ASIF, announced the withdrawal of the student movement. However, as soon as he was released from there, he said that the video was under pressure. These student leaders promised to continue the movement and the people soon joined the movement and brought their views to their view. Later, in the wake of the growing police against the movement, the student leaders announced a point for Sheikh Hasina’s resignation, which eventually ended the Awami League rule.
In this way, two students, who started the fight against discrimination, became an adviser to the interim government within a month. Let us tell you that Nahid is a postgraduate student of Social Science at the University of Dhaka. He was admitted to the university in the 2016-2017 session. He is also a member secretary of the Ganotantic Students Shakti (DU Unit), a party formed by separate members from the rights council of the students led by Nurul Haque Noor. In addition to these, ASIF is a linguist student at the University of Dhaka. Nahid’s close associate, AASIF acts as a ganotantic student power call.
Let us remind you that Nahid is in favor of the progress of the youth in politics and while accepting the position of consultant, he said that he would fight for the right to vote and work to bring democracy back to the country. He also vowed to end discrimination and injustice from society. Nahid said that if Bangladesh is in its youth, the country will not deviate from its goal. He said that people rely on the youth and took to the streets during the movement. He said that the youth gave their blood to the country. He said that if people think that youth should be commanded, they are ready. Nahid said that our goal is to eliminate fascism by improving these institutions. He said that the major parties could not remove the autocratic government in the last 17 years, but they were able to do it in just four days of the demand for a point. He said that we would prove that the younger generation could serve the country with passion and patriotism.
However, there is no doubt that the future of Bangladesh will now be decided by the youth. However, they also have to take full care of Bangladesh to walk the right path. However, one thing is clear that this would be a major challenge for anyone who fought Bangladesh with violence and anarchy to bring back Bangladesh.
