BSNL will start promoting 4G networks to 5G in June, Reliance Geo, Bharti Airtel

The 4G network of the Government Telecom Company will be promoted to India Nigam Limited (BSNL) to 5G from June. The company plans to launch about one lakh 4G sites by June. About 89,000 4G site has been installed. The company has used indigenous technology for 4G networks.

The government’s goal is to extend this skill up to 5G. Recently, the BSNL was approved by the central government with the financing of Tk 6,000 crore for expansion of BSNL 4G network. This fund will also be used for the company’s 4G network supporting Metropolitan Telephone Corporation (MTNL). The control of MTNL is with BSNL, providing telecom services in Delhi and Mumbai.

BSNL’s network can be allowed to bid about two billion dollars to the telecom equipment contract to upgrade 5G. If foreign telecom equipment agencies are included to upgrade to the company’s 5G network, it will be a major change in the government’s position. BSNL 5G is difficult to compete with private telecom companies in the absence of mobile services. The responsibility of installing the 4G network of the company is software maker Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) LED consortium. The government is considering the company’s 5G tender volume proposal to preserve half the amount. Foreign companies may be allowed to bid for the rest of the tender.

In the third quarter of the current fiscal year, BSNL recorded a net profit of around Rs 262 crore. Organization It gains a quarter of about 17 years later.
