
Handloom Sari Walk will be held on August 4 Visakhapatnam

Before the Visakhapatnam National Handloom Day (August August), a three -kilometer saree walk along the road is going to organize a lively celebration. The second edition of the program organized by the Spirit of Vijag Society was to honor India’s rich handloom Heritage Tihaya that promotes the footsteps among women.
The exposed purpose for women of all ages that can don the event is to show not only the beauty of the traditional sari but also to highlight the crafts of Indian weavers.
Last year, the opening version of the event was, the participation of 000.5 women. “We hope that the event will help bring the spotlight to the topic of handloom industry and promotes their craft to the handloom, providing a platform to the show. Registration is free for participants under the age of 18 and under the age of 75. For others, it’s $ 100. Certificate will be presented to all registered participants. As part of this initiative, a trade fair is also organized on August 3 and 4 at the Social Gadirju Palace.
