The annual chocolate festival of it has returned, and this year, the organizers have promised, bigger and better than ever. The M&N Chocolate Festival, now in the 15th edition of it, has become a tradition of Nilgiris, mixture history, taste and community consciousness.

Fazlur Rahman, the organizer of the festival, reflected his journey: “In fact, we started in 1942 and we started conducting a chocolate festival in the 21st. Our goal is to raise awareness among the visitors.”

This year’s showstopper is a chocolate replica of the Historic Tihasik Break Memorial School in Ooty. The school was made to celebrate the one -and -a -half anniversary of the school, the model was made from 100 kg dark, milk and white chocolate. Fazlur of the school shared his personal connection: “Since it is celebrating one and a half years, I wanted to make me in some form for my teacher and school. It was a way to return me. The festival is not just about stunning display. It is also a celebration of local production and innovation. Farmers often leave carrots in the field due to restriction of resources. We wanted to show how these products could be standardized,” Fazlur says. Beetroot, carrot, potatoes, tea powder and coffee eucalyptus oil and iconic OT Vercies are featured in some local flavored features.

For visitors, including the adventure palette, the festival provides a large number of orcheys and spices inspired by spices. Think of mulberry, dragon fruit, pink guava and emotional fruits, associated with pepper, cloves and cinnamon. International tastes are also highlighted, with the kunafa of Dubai-style chocolate, spice Mexican chocolate and Yuju and Yuju and ginger white chocolate to add a global twist.

The main focus of the education festival. “We want people to understand what the real chocolate is, how to choose good quality chocolate and dietary considerations,” said Fazlur. To this goal, chocolate-testing and chocolate making sessions allow their own treats to experience and craft. “We provide white, dark and milk chocolate and they can specialize in unique flavored combinations and toppings,” he adds. This year a new addition is an on-spot chocolate counter, where custom tastes are made to order.

The festivals attracted more than 4,000 visitors from December 20. “Our main goal is to support our local communication and promote tourism. Fazlur says it is our extensive plan to support local farmers and provide visitors’ valuable information to the flour.

M&N chocolate festivals are not an event in Bollywood – this is an experience, according to him. It tries to capture the essence of Nilgiris from the brake school centerpiece to the unique taste. “For family, food lovers and tourists, it is a reminder of Heritage in the region and a reminder of the magic of chocolate,” added Fazlur.
