The Commonwealth Games Federation is named, announced on the Commonwealth Day

The Commonwealth Sports Federation (CGF) changed its name on Monday and changed the name of the Commonwealth to say that it was a change of ‘movement’ from the organization. The decision to change the name was announced on March 10 on the occasion of the Commonwealth Day. “The Commonwealth Sports Federation will be known as the Commonwealth Day 2025’s Commonwealth Games,” the Commonwealth Sports and the Commonwealth Youth Games Operations Institution say in a media notification.
According to the notice, the Commonwealth Sports Federation is changing its public brand name in the Commonwealth. This brand reflects on ‘Sports Movement’ changes in the ‘Sports Federation’ of Development Organization ‘Sports Federation’
The ‘Commonwealth Sports Federation’ will only be named as the name of the legal unit. Meanwhile, King Charles, sponsor of the Commonwealth Games, will officially launch the Commonwealth Sports Kings Baton (Torch) relay for Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games on Monday. King Charles first will place his message to the Commonwealth in Betton.
He will first hand over to Sir Chris Ho and start the relay 500 days before the opening ceremony of Glasgow 2026. It will be held for up to six days with the Commonwealth Sports Association in the Commonwealth Games, the longest Betton Relay in the Commonwealth Games.
